S. Biles, who have
dominated gymnastics both at worlds and International competitions didn’t
disappoint at the Olympics. Kids all over the world especially in her country
are being encouraged to sign up for gymnastics classes hoping to be just like
Biles. We should not count her out yet. Simone Biles said that she looks
towards the next Olympics games at Tokyo.
"The
next games are far away, but after I take a long vacation,
and
life settles down, I will get back
to
training and prepare for 2020”
I
haven’t thought that far ahead but you get so excited that you want to go for
the next games. I want to have fun and enjoy life a bit and then go back to
training. We have a tour. We’ll just have to see, it won’t hurt to take a year
off.”
Aly may be the oldest
and captain of the team but she is no ready to exit the gym and say goodbye
just yet. She has confirmed her Olympic return,
“I
thought i was at my best shape of my life at 2012,
now
I just feel better,
I
think I get better with age’.
‘If
you had asked me a few months ago I would have definitely said i was done
and
I think my coach, Mihai Brestyan
would
have said the same now am going
to
take a break and return.”
Now that they are done
with the Olympics, their job is not yet over as the have lots of public
appearances, interviews and the popular Kellogg’s Tour of gymnastics champions
visiting 36 cities starting with New York City.
