LARISA IORDACHE IS OUT OF EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS
Tweet The European games will be held from April 13-19, in
Montpellier, France. It will include only individual
competitions.
Prosport reported that Romania's Larisa Iordache has
withdrawn
from the upcoming European championships due
to pain in her left ankle.
Earlier this year, national head coach Octavian Bellu
announced that the Romanian gymnast won't be taking part in
the first edition of the European games in Baku this summer
in order to finish her high school exams.
Bellu is yet to announce the name of the gymnast who will
replace Iordache. Andreea Iridon, Laura Jurca and Diana
Bulimar have already been selected to represent Romania at
the competition.
As for now, two of the most strongest all arounders are out of
the European championships, the second gymnast being Aliya
Mustafina of Russia. At the last European all around
competition, Iordache won silver behind Mustafina.
