Russia's head coach has mentioned that Aliya Mustafina will travel to Germany after Glasgow for surgery on her torn meniscus and will recover within 2 weeks to enable her continue training for Rio. Aliya is known for her strong personality, worlds is not always a prerequisite for wining at Olympics as she demonstrated by winning a gold and bronze individual medals at London after missing out on 2011 worlds due to injury. Mustafina is still on the road to Rio!
