Japan Women Artistic Gymnastics named their WAG Olympic team after the just concluded All-Japan Championships. Japanese Women Artistic Gymnastics federation just became the first to name her Olympic team
This selection was based on international performance, All-Japan Championships and the NHK Trophy for all-arounders. The All-Japan Event Championships was basically for the selection of event specialists.

were later named yesterday based on the weekend meet.
